Atletico Madrid have rejected an offer from AC Milan for Angel Correa which involved a two-year loan, reports in Spain claim.
The saga surrounding Correa has felt never-ending at times during the summer mercato, and with days left until the window shuts we are no closer to knowing if he will join.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claimed earlier on Tuesday that Milan are going ‘full speed ahead’ for the Argentine, with il Corriere della Sera confirming a ‘draft agreement’ over a €40m deal.
The latter report claimed that Correa is still the primary target as the Milan leadership are convinced that the 24-year-old can play either as a trequartista, a second striker or even as a winger.
However, Spanish outlet Radio Cadena Ser – as cited by MilanNews.it – states that the Colchoneros have in fact rejected an offer from Milan involving a different formula.
The Rossoneri asked for two-year loan with the right to buy, the Spanish broadcaster claims, but this was refused as Atletico need to raise funds to sign Correa’s replacement in Valencia’s Rodrigo.
