AC Milan’s imminent signing of Goncalo Ramos is quite literally front-page news after a club-record fee was agreed with PSG.
Things moved very quickly on the Ramos front. After reports on Thursday that a first bid had been sent by Milan, as of Friday afternoon the operation had been wrapped up as per the usual reliable sources.

What is surprising is how much the signing will cost: it is believed that the Rossoneri have agreed a package worth over €70m with the Parisians, which blows the previous record out of the water.

Below is how the newspapers look in Italy this morning, and all of them mention the blockbuster deal that Milan have made early in the summer to appease Ruben Amorim’s demands.

The coach asked for Ramos and got him. Cant complain when the management get the coach the players that he request. The market is what it is. If Milan had to pay 70 mil thats what other clubs were ready to bid as well.
I rather see us spending bigger money on 3-4 targets Amorim really wants, then promoting a few young italians for squad reasons, then spreading out the money on 6-7 new decent players.
Give Amorim Ramos (done), Trincai, Hjulamand and Silva. Promote Camarda, Comotto and Torriani to be regulat first team players, and sell off Leao, R-L-C, Bondo, Athekame, Bennacer and even Fofana and Gimenez if they are not wanted by Amorim.
