Things are accelerating with AC Milan and Niclas Fullkrug, and it seems the German is trying to secure a move to Serie A rather than heading back home.
Although his recent form has been poor, it is undeniable that he fits the mould of what Massimiliano Allegri wants. The German is a physical presence who can draw in players, allowing the focus to go elsewhere.

Despite his struggles in England, too, he can also score goals. So, in the right system, he could return to his best levels.
Fullkrug makes a decision
Milan are keen to get a deal done, and they want to get things finalised by the end of 2025, and it could be done before then. In the last few hours, reports from Germany state that a first offer has been made by the Rossoneri.
Following that news, on his X, Fabrizio Romano stated the following information about Fullkrug and his future.
“Niklas Füllkrug wants AC Milan move ahead of any proposal from the Bundesliga. Negotiations well underway with West Ham, as revealed in recent days.”
I don’t really get this. Is this someone Allegri specifically asked for? I feel like they’re pulling an Nkunku on Allegri again. Yes, he’s a striker, but is he who Milan REALLY need? We need another CB more importantly than this, if this is the type of profile they’re going for.
I know. at least it seems to be a loan. But looks like we will be replacing a struggling striker who hasnt scored in Santi, with another struggling striker who hasnt scored. I saw a rumor that west ham wants Santi ? So, this is like a swap type of thing. Best case scenario, a change of scene will help them both. (i honestly do not think they are as bad as their current form). But most likely, nobody benefits. Santi struggles there and Fulkrug will struggle here
Santi is injured and will have surgery so he almost certainly wont leave in January and besides of that the players has completely different valuations as Fullkrug probably will be a loan with an option most likely below 10 mil whereas Gimenez would cost in the vicinity of 25-30 mil so I simply cant see any sort of swap deal done here. Besides of that one player is 32 and the other 24 last time I checked.
Thiago silva and fullkrug would be first senior signing?
currently our main issue is lack of quality CBs, cover on fullbacks and N9.
Flukrug, T.Silva until summer upgrades does most fixing, band-aid on bullet would but still.
add RLC sale and Frendrup and Fortini signings and we good.
Ricci and Jashari barely play but somehow Milan should sign Frendrup?
Defender would be welcome but we’ve only lost one game so far…. One which we shouldn’t have lost.

It’s not a good signing but I’m not sure who else they can get? Hopefully it’s just a loan to help see out the season . With Santi getting surgery and Leao and Puli having some injury problems Milan does need some more options on the bench to help out in attack. Honestly Milan needs Pulisic and Leao to stay healthy so they can be the two strikers. Without that I think there isn’t a chance for the Scudetto.

Based on the comments people expect Milan to get a Haaland-level striker for 10M€ in a January window. As if any club is willing to sell their well-performing striker for a fee Milan could afford.
January window is for
a) flops getting a new club
b) loaning out young players to get playing time
c) one-hit wonders moving to a bigger club for a bigger sum (e.g. Piatek, Gimenez).
So… Options B and C aren’t options for Milan unless Gimenez or Nkunku is sold for 30M€. Anyone think that is even possible in an alternative universe? Right. So, there is only option left. It’s not rocket science.
