As captured by the Telelombardia team, Paratici was present at a hotel in Milan earlier today and the outlet first stated that he had a meeting with Furlani. It was also mentioned that Roberto De Zerbi’s agent was present at the hotel.
However, soon thereafter, Furlani got hold of the reports – likely asked by journalists as well – and he immediately denied the report. He also sent an image of his location at the time, having watched one of his kids play football.

Telelombardia then published a correction, saying that Paratici had a meeting with De Zerbi’s agent only and not with Furlani as well. As such, the event doesn’t hold as much value for Milan fans, even if the former Juventus director remains the favourite for the sporting director role.
Furlani is taking his time, evaluating several profiles closely, and the latest name to be added to the list is Napoli’s Giovanni Manna. In short, nothing definitive can be said about the pursuit for the time being.
