Milan are currently gearing up to take on Juventus tomorrow evening, which will be an extremely important game for both sides. Today’s newspapers, though, have inevitably been forced to focus on another matter.
Yesterday, it was revealed that almost all clubs have officially left the Super League project to reconcile with UEFA. Milan are one of the teams, but the likes of Juventus, Barcelona and Real Madrid are still in the competition.
This was the focus of the Italian newspapers, therefore, as Corriere Dello Sport wrote: “Super League, UEFA readmit Inter and Milan, but warn Agnelli. The 9 regretful clubs are fined, threatened further action for Real, Barca and Bianconeri”.
Tuttosport had a similar angle as they put: “Hit hard, Juve, Barca, Real. Inter, Milan and another seven clubs who left the Super League sign an agreement with UEFA, avoiding fines up to 100m”. Gazzetta Dello Sport focused on the Giro d’Italia instead.
