Goncalo Ramos was announced by AC Milan earlier in the week and it seems the new management have Adriano Galliani’s stamp of approval for the signing.

After a slow start, searching for a head coach as well as a new management, Milan decided to make up for that with a bang. On Tuesday this week, Ramos was announced as the new striker, arriving from PSG in a record-breaking deal (believed to be €70m+).
Seeing as the Rossoneri struggled to find the back of the net last season, making a striker the first signing of the summer definitely makes sense. However, few would have expected them to spend so much, especially after how it has looked in recent years.
Galliani is intrigued
Speaking at the charity event United for Meyer last night, as cited by MilanNews, the former Milan CEO Galliani shared his thoughts on the striker, as well as his love for the club. By the sounds of it, the new management has his stamp of approval, even if time is the only deciding factor.
“31 years of the Rossoneri, I can’t die wearing any other colours. I’m definitely a huge AC Milan fan. I saw Ramos the other night, he seems quick… We have been missing a top-notch centre forward for many years, and this one seems to have the right characteristics. Let’s hope so.
“However, having been in football for 50 years of football, I never celebrate during the summer. You have to celebrate the following spring, when the league titles, cups, and so on are awarded.
“Over the years, I have sometimes thought I have made great transfers, only for them to turn out poorly. It’s only later that we will understand whether it was a great transfer or not,” he stated.
