The AC Milan management must soon make a decision on the future of Yacine Adli who remains a subject of mystery, a report claims.

La Gazzetta dello Sport recall how Adli arrived amid quite a lot of excitement after a positive preseason, but Stefano Pioli never really trusted him much. He only made six appearances all season, with two coming in 2023.
He made just one start in October against Hellas Verona and the feeling is that a possible change of formation to a 4-3-3 might not help him, thus leaving him in a state of limbo ahead of 2023-24.
In the meantime, the Frenchman has received compliments from his team-mates. Leao, one of his biggest sponsors, urged him not to give up on the first day of preseason, commenting: “Show who you are.”
Towards the end of the season he put on a lunch for the whole team at his home with red and black balloons to boost squad morale a few days after the 1-0 win against Juventus.
Adli is happy at Milan and is under contract until 2026, but the most likely hypothesis is a loan at the moment for next season.
