GdS: Arsenal lead English clubs in race for €50m midfielder but Milan have a plan

AC Milan must try and resolve the future of Franck Kessie as there are several interested clubs in the Premier League, a report claims.

According to the latest from La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), Milan want to hold on to Kessie who has become one of the pillars of Pioli’s team. Negotiations over the renewal of his contract – expiring in 2022 – have already started, but at the moment there is a distance between the demand and the offer.

The hope for Milan is that the inclusion of some bonuses will lead to an agreement, because the club intend to build around a player whose market value has now risen to €50m. Milan will have to hurry too and the target is to resolve Kessie’s long-term future in the coming months to drive away the English clubs – Arsenal above all – who are interested in the player.
