GdS: Cardinale makes a decision regarding the future of Milan president Scaroni

New AC Milan owner Gerry Cardinale has made the decision to keep Paolo Scaroni in his role as the club’s president, a report has claimed.

According to what is being reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), Cardinale has made a decision regarding the future of the Rossoneri presidency and Scaroni will remain at the helm.

Therefore, he will maintain the role of president of Milan also under the new management, having taken up the position when Elliott Management became the owners of the club back in 2018. It comes after Scaroni gave an interview last week during which he seemed to confirm himself that he will remain in the role.

The paper adds that is not certain whether Cardinale will acquire an operational role in the new Milan, while the future of CEO Ivan Gazidis – whose contract with the Rossoneri will expire in November – remains to be deciphered.
