GdS: Donnarumma’s wage demand isn’t the only problem for Milan – the issues with his renewal

Milan are working hard to reach an agreement with Mino Raiola over the renewal of Gigio Donnarumma, whose contract will expire in the summer. However, it’s proving to be very difficult for the Rossoneri.

As reported by Gazzetta Dello Sport (via MilanNews), not only are the parties far off when it comes to the salary, but two additional issues need to be sorted: the value of the release clause and the duration of the contract.

Raiola, of course, wants the clause to be pretty low and he isn’t willing to extend the contract for more than two years either. Obviously, Milan aren’t too keen on the solution and it’s clear the parties will have to meet somewhere in the middle.

It remains to be seen how the saga will end but the Milan fans are already tired of it, which hasn’t exactly worked in Donnarumma’s favour. Although he allegedly wants to stay at the club, he hasn’t shown that in the negotiations.
