GdS: Giampaolo back on Schick; AC Milan told to pay €35m

In recent days, summits between AC Milan’s new manager Giampaolo and the management have been frequent. As reported by La Gazzetta Dello Sport, from yesterday’s meeting a crazy idea emerged that could revolutionize the attack: Schick to support Piatek.

The 23-year-old Czech is a favourite of Giampaolo, for obvious reasons. In the season of 2016/17, the striker’s career took off under the guidance of the Italian manager, impressing several big teams.

However, at Roma, success hasn’t arrived. Therefore, Giampaolo would like to relaunch him at Milan, though the management is still in an evaluation phase. In fact, the Giallorossi are asking for €30-35m, which the Rossoneri won’t pay.

Instead, as added by Gazzetta, Cutrone could be included in the deal. Roma are in need of a striker but also intend to monetize the Schick deal, and they would need at least €15m in addition to a counterpart.

Another possible solution could be Andre Silva, who will return from his loan at Sevilla at the end of the month. He’s valued at roughly the same price as Schick, and a straight swap could thus be on the cards.
