GdS: Krunic the only No.10 at Milan as things stand – reinforcements expected

Milan are currently looking for a replacement for Hakan Calhanoglu, who decided to leave the club when his contract ended. Brahim Diaz is one step away from returning, but the deal has not been finalised just yet.

Therefore, as highlighted by Gazzetta Dello Sport this morning (via MilanNews), Rade Krunic is currently the only trequartista at Stefano Pioli’s disposal. The Bosnian, who is very versatile, scored two goals and assisted an additional three this past season.

We all remember his lovely free-kick against Hellas Verona, certainly showing Calhanoglu how it’s done in that department. However, Krunic won’t be the first-choice trequartista this upcoming season, not even the second choice.

In addition to Brahim Diaz, another arrival is expected for this position and we will soon know more about the matter. For now, though, the Rossoneri directors are working on it as they have several players in mind that must be evaluated.
