MN: Exit of quartet could yield over €30m for Milan to reinvest on the market

By Isak Möller -

Milan won’t just make signings this summer but will also look to part ways with a few players. This will not only help the squad numerically, but it will also result in some cash that can be reinvested on the market.

The Rossoneri have several players that aren’t really in the plans of the club and thus could leave this summer. According to MilanNews, taking stock of the situation, they could cash in more than €30m from the sales.

The main suspects are Mattia Caldara and Andrea Conti. Milan want to evaluate the former during pre-season but there is interest from abroad, while the latter is expected to leave with interest from a few Serie A clubs.

With regards to collecting money, though, the significant amounts will come from the sales of Jens Petter Hauge, Tommaso Pobega and Samu Castillejo. All three could leave this summer if the right offer arrives.

Pobega seems to be just one step away from Atalanta and his price tag is €15m, while Hauge has attracted interest in Germany. The Norwegian could leave for €12m after just one year at the club.

As for Castillejo, the price tag is unknown but one would have to guess that Milan could get around €5m from his potential sale this summer.
