GdS: Maldini has zero doubt about completing signing of midfielder in €35m operation

AC Milan have zero doubts about signing Sandro Tonali from Brescia on a permanent basis, according to a report.

Milan pulled off a statement coup last summer when they landed Tonali from Brescia on a loan with option to buy deal, beating competition from several clubs for a midfielder that is very highly thought of, including city rivals Inter.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanNews), technical director Paolo Maldini has already decided to bet on Tonali despite an inconsistent season in terms of form, and he will be one of the protagonists of Milan moving forward.

The paper speaks about the future of the young midfielder and confirms that the loan fee paid to Brescia is €10m, while the option to buy will see the Rossoneri send another €25m to their Lombardy neighbours. With Kessie, Bennacer and Tonali it seems Milan have three pieces of their midfield for the future.
