GdS: Milan hoping for Pioli to be the added value again as static market continues

While waiting for new signings to bolster the squad, the Milan management will be hoping that Stefano Pioli can continue to add value to the group.

La Gazzetta dello Sport talks about how Milan have been quite static on the market compared to their rivals. Inter have signed Romelu Lukaku and Hanrikh Mkhitaryan, Juventus had acquired Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria while even Roma have landed Paulo Dybala.

Pioli on the other hand is very willing in deeds and not only in words to continue on with a project that is all about the enhancement of talents. Theo Hernandez and Rafael Leao are the best in the league in their positions, while Sandro Tonali and Pierre Kalulu are also right up there, and there are more examples of players who have doubled or trebled their value since joining Milan.

Meanwhile, Yacine Adli arrived and Tommaso Pobega returned to base, and those are two more players who have the talent to become a key part of the rotations with the right patience and the right coaching, two things Milan can guarantee.

So while there has been talk about Charles De Ketelaere, Hakim Ziyech and Renato Sanches, it still remains clear that the Rossoneri management make their signings on a technical and also an economic point of view.

Milan are Italian champions because of their work on the market but above all their work on the training ground and out on the pitch in the heart of battle, and that must be remembered with a dose of foresight.
