GdS: Milan player ratings for Sassuolo loss – a disaster across the board

The majority of AC Milan’s players came under heavy fire from La Gazzetta dello Sport for their performances in the 5-2 defeat against Sassuolo yesterday.

The paper (as seen below) have given the team an overall score of 4 out of 10 for what was yet another dismal afternoon defensively, with Stefano Pioli getting an even lower score of a 3.

The best player for the Rossoneri was substitute Divock Origi who got his second goal for the club and was worthy of a 6.5, while the worst performer was Theo Hernandez who got a 4.

Ciprian Tatarusanu was given a 4.5, Davide Calabria a 4, while Pierre Kalulu and Matteo Gabbia got the same as the Romanian goalkeeper.

Rade Krunic (4.5) and Sandro Tonali (5) struggled in the midfield, while Alexis Saelemaekers (5.5), Charles De Ketelaere (4.5) and Ante Rebic (5) didn’t make much happen in attack.

Olivier Giroud got a 5.5 as he ended his goal drought, while Rafael Leao received a 5.5 and Junior Messias was given a 5 as the two wingers came off the bench.
