GdS: Milan player ratings for Torino win – six players score 7 or more

A number of AC Milan players have drawn praise for their performance during last night’s 4-1 win against Torino in the first home game of the new season.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (seen below) has their ratings from the game last night, starting with Milan’s overall performance which was given a 7.5 out of 10, as was Stefano Pioli’s management.

Christian Pulisic got the title of man of the match as he got his name on the scoresheet again, while Mike Maignan received the lowest score, though it was a 6.

Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori each received a 6.5 for their defensive work, while Theo Hernandez got a 7 as he opened his account for the new campaign.

Ruben Loftus-Cheek earned a 7 too, as did his midfield partner Tijjani Reijnders, with Rade Krunic getting half a point less.

Olivier Giroud got a 7 for emphatically tucking two penalties away, while Rafael Leao got the same having provided a lovely assist for Theo.

Yunus Musah, Noah Okafor and Samuel Chukwueze all came off the bench for the last half an hour, and each got a 6.
