This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (as seen below) has their ratings for the game, starting with Milan’s overall performance and the management of Stefano Pioli, both of which earned a meagre 5 out of 10.
The best player on the pitch for the Rossoneri was Sandro Tonali who got a 6.5 for being the last to give up on the cause, while Brahim Diaz was awarded a 4.5 as he lost possession frequently and struggled to affect the game.
The defensive quartet of Mike Maignan, Davide Calabria, Malick Thiaw and Fikayo Tomori each got a 6, but Theo Hernandez again disappointed and was awarded a 5.
Rade Krunic got a 6, while moving into a struggling attack Junior Messias got a 5.5, Rafael Leao a 5 and Olivier Giroud the same.
Pierre Kalulu was the only substitute to play enough for a rating and he got a 4.5 for a lack of concentration that led to Lautaro’s goal which ended the tie.
