GdS: Milan’s squad value has decreased by €137m – the biggest player drop

AC Milan’s season has been far from perfect and their struggles in 2023 have put a top-four finish and thus Champions League qualification at risk. As a result, the overall squad value has decreased by €137m.

As highlighted by today’s edition of Gazzetta Dello Sport (via SempreMilan.it), the failure to perform consistently in the league this year has really hurt the squad value. In total, the team is now worth €137m less compared to in the summer.

The biggest ‘villain’, as you would expect, is Rafael Leao seeing as he had a very had value after the Scudetto season. He has gone from €150m to €70m. The centre-back duo of Fikayo Tomori and Pierre Kalulu have gone from €50m to €30m and €30m to €20m respectively.

Charles De Ketelaere was signed for around €35m in the summer but his value is now €20m, while Divock Origi has gone from €12m to €5m. Finally, Yacine Adli who barely has got any paying time stands at €5m rather than €10m.
