GdS: Offer arrives for Rebic but it is not convincing – the latest

A first offer has come in for winger Ante Rebic but it is not one that particularly convinces the management, a report claims.

It ended up being a disappointing season for Rebic but it started in a very positive way with a brace against Udinese in the first game of the campaign, before injury problems and general inconsistency saw things go downhill.

Things got so bad that by end of the season head coach Stefano Pioli even decided not to call him up for the final three games because he was dissatisfied with the way that the Croatian was training.

According to what La Gazzetta dello Sport (via MilanLive) are reporting, Rebic is in the sights of Besiktas but at the moment the Turkish side are only willing to discuss a loan deal.

The reason is purely economic, because Besiktas have no intention at the moment of spending €5-6m on a permanent deal, especially when the play currently gets €3.5m net per season from the Rossoneri.

It is unlikely that Milan will accept a loan offer with the shared payment of Rebic’s salary so there is a stand-by while they await other offers from abroad.
