GdS: Pioli already has double role in mind for De Ketelaere – the details

Stefano Pioli has already begun thinking about how Charles De Ketelaere might fit into his tactical mechanisms, according to a report.

This morning’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport reports that Milan have put forward a new bid worth €31m as a fixed amount and €4m in bonuses. While the Belgian club could ask the Rossoneri for a further effort in terms of how the bonuses are achieved, the feeling is that he will soon be a new Milan player.

They also spoke about how the 21-year-old might fit into Milan’s plans tactically given that he has played virtually every role in the attack during his time with Brugge, and the paper states that Pioli has two ideas in mind.

The Milan boss believes that De Ketelaere can player either as attacking midfielder (therefore the No.10 role) in his 4-2-3-1 system and also as a right winger too in a potential shift to a 4-3-3 should the need arise.
