AC Milan head coach Massimiliano Allegri has made his choices regarding the team that will start against Parma this evening.
Milan are once again in desperate need of three points or they risk letting Inter run away with the title, while Juventus’ loss at home to Como means that they can open up an 11-point gap to fifth place, which would further increase the chances of a top four finish.

AC Milan vs. Parma: Predicted starting XIs
Allegri confirmed in his press conference that all players are at his disposal except for Santiago Gimenez. Strahinja Pavlovic went off at half-time against Como after a nasty challenge from Van der Brempt, and yet the Serbian will fight through the pain and be on the bench.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport this morning, Allegri has opted to go with a three-man defence of Fikayo Tomori, Matteo Gabbia and Davide Bartesaghi ahead of Mike Maignan. Bartesaghi drops back from his usual wing-back role therefore, with Pervis Estupinan taking his place.
Ruben Loftus-Cheek, Luka Modric and Adrien Rabiot should be the three-man midfield, with Alexis Saelemaekers are right wing-back. Up front, Rafael Leao and Christian Pulisic are tipped to get only their third start in the league together.
Predicted Milan XI (3-5-2): Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Bartesaghi; Saelemaekers, Loftus-Cheek, Modric, Rabiot, Estupinan; Pulisic, Leao.
Predicted Milan bench: Terracciano, Torriani, Athekame, Odogu, Pavlovic, De Winter, Fofana, Ricci, Jashari, Nkunku, Füllkrug.
Predicted Parma XI (5-3-2): Corvi; Britschgi, Delprato, Troilo, Valenti, Valeri; Bernabe, Nicolussi Caviglia, Keita; Strefezza, Pellegrino.
Predicted Parma bench: Rinaldi, Casentini, Drobnic, F. Carboni, Mena, Martinez, Ordonez, Cremaschi, Estevez, Ondrejka, Oristanio, Sorensen, Elphege.

I don’t get it with this lineup. Why not De Winter on the left and keep Barteseghi at LWB? Why play Leao and Pulisic together? It make sense to play Pulisic and Fullkrug instead.
Leao, Pulisic and Nkunku are not strikers. It would make more sense to play RLC and Pulisic together than Leao and Pulisic because they are both wingers and it’s not working. Allegri is consistently getting the front pair wrong in my opinion. Sigh!
I was expecting Mr Allegri to start Fullkrug as a point man, roam pulisic behind him with his runs behind defenders.
DeWinter behind Davide to provide width just like Alexis. But Mr Allegri knows better, atleast till proven otherwise.
Forza Milan
