The performances both in matches and in training of Luka Romero are forcing Stefano Pioli to have second thoughts about loaning the 18-year-old to a new team this summer, a report claims.

As has been reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Argentine youngster has been one of the standout players since the team rejoined at Milanello and then flew to the United States of America.
Romero can play in the centre but he seems to be at his best on the right wing, an area where Milan intend to have two players that are more senior than him. Christian Pulisic has already arrived and Samuel Chukwueze is expected to follow shortly.
That means that there is stiff competition for that part of Pioli’s 4-3-3 formation. The impressive showing in pre-season, the headline being a superb goal against Real Madrid, means that Pioli has to consider if Romero can stay for the season and challenge.
