GdS: Thiaw, Adli, Jovic – the latest on Milan’s potential sale candidates

AC Milan will soon welcome Strahinja Pavlovic as their second signing of the summer and then work will continue to fix other gaps in the squad, with the striker issue something to be monitored.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the money to buy Pavlovic is already there and there is no pressure on Milan to make a sale in order to fund that signing, while for other signings they might look to get one out before they add more.

The signal given by Paulo Fonseca to Yacine Adli – who remains as an unused substitute against Manchester City is quite clear, but the Frenchman has not yet given the green light to a potental move to Saudi Arabia.

Instead, watch out for what can happen with Malick Thiaw. In England word spread of an agreement reached between Milan and Newcastle for the German, a story denied by his agent, but the Rossoneri are holding back and continuing to for €40m to sell.

The striker issue deserves a separate chapter, which is not a priority because there are Luka Jovic and Francesco Camarda as options. However, if an offer for the Serbian arrives, Milan could sell for a pure capital gain and go for another centre-forward.
