Santiago Gimenez has responded to the recent transfer rumours on social media, stating that ‘the only truth’ is that AC Milan’s Serie A season will start tonight.

In the last week or so, with Milan looking for at least one striker to reinforce the attack, the January signing Gimenez has been linked with an exit. A few reports have even claimed that the Rossoneri have asked the striker’s agent to fetch offers from potential suitors.
Given the investment made to sign him from Feyenoord in January, it feels a bit absurd to even consider a sale at this point, especially since he has looked quite good in pre-season. Furthermore, finding a replacement wouldn’t exactly be easy.
Gimenez puts his foot down
On his official X account, seemingly responding to all of the rumours that have been making the rounds lately, Gimenez tweeted: “The only truth is that tomorrow the Serie A starts!!! And it’s going to be an incredible season!! Andiamoooooo Forza Milan!!! 🔥💪🏼❤️”
