The team chose to sit back and counter attack and Sassuolo ran riot over the defense. Eventually, they would get the equaliser at the 91st minute, thanks to a strike by Belgian forward Davina Philtjens. Milan and Sassuolo will play the return leg on February 13th, a home game for the Rossonere.

➤ Milan will return to action this week as they take on San Marino this Sunday. The game will take place at 12:30pm CET, and will be played at the Vismara.
