There is a need to add midfielders for the future this summer, past the signings of Granit Xhaka and Luka Modric. Of course, quality is needed, as is experience. However, Milan cannot place their long-term ambitions on those that follow. Instead, they must be embedded into the team now.

As HLN write, today, the midfielder is a target of both Manchester United and the Diavolo, but it seems his preference is Serie A and San Siro. However, this may not be the be-all and end-all for things.
The Red Devils want to ‘go further’ than Milan to bring the midfielder to the club; however, he does not see Ruben Amorim’s side as an attractive destination, opening the door to the Rossoneri effectively.
So, if the two clubs can agree on fees, it should be plain sailing. Right now, €30 million is the figure that the Diavolo are offering, but this will not open negotiations with the Belgian club. Instead, €40m is needed to open ‘concrete discussions’.
It is worth noting that this figure can also be reached, or neared, with bonuses, so it may not require €40m altogether.

The time for Wieffer and Hjulmand was before they made their latest moves. We’ll now being paying a premium on players that we could have had last summer and the summer before for much less. In fact, Hjulmand went to sporting for a paltry 20M. Brighton only signed Wieffer last summer and will ask for 50M. Hjulmand is also valued at 50M now. So even at 40M, Jashari will be more affordable.
Wieffer was injured for 3-4 months, 50M is absurd… 35M what they paid is very much plausible… since they were -200M in red last year

Looking at Youtube vids he definitely seems to fit the bill for what we’re looking for. But we can’t forget that the Belgian league is miles away for serie a. Quite a gamble for this price I would say.
My friend, everybody looks good on YouTube. I watched the champions league games with club Brugge vs Atalanta and I wasn’t impressed with Jashari.
He’s not worth 35/40m. I would rather Milan spend that money Rovella than waste it on Jashari.
But in my opinion there’s cheaper better options on the market. Bouaddi transfer fee is 25/30m and at 17yrs old this kid is on top player level. Guerra is also a better investment than Jashari.
I agree, I’m more impressed with Guerra rather than Jashari, and Ricci doesn’t convince me either, I’d rather buy Rovella instead, although the negotiation seems to be complicated. If we can offload one of RLC, Musah, or Pobega, I would go for Modric, one of Xhaka or Rovella, and one of Guerra or Jashari, whichever deal makes more sense financially.
