There is a lot being said about Milan and strikers this summer, largely because the Rossoneri have been requested to sign one by Massimiliano Allegri. However, the signs point more towards Vlahovic and Turin than anywhere else.

By all accounts, the deal works. An expiring contract and Italian interest makes him an opportunity for the management, and someone with Italian experience – something which Igli Tare and Allegri are desperate for.

However, the wage bill hurts the idea, and this is what the Rossoneri must work out quickly.

Serie A situation

It seems like a move within Serie A is most likely for the Serbian, who will likely leave Turin this summer. As Gazzetta dello Sport writes, the decision rests entirely with him.

The Diavolo are leading the chase, it seems, and he is open to the move, as has been reported recently. However, the wage issue will need to be sorted out. For this reason, Vlahovic must make his move, but he has another option.

Napoli, as the report suggests, are keeping tabs on the situation as well, and could do a swap deal, including Victor Osimhen. Antonio Conte has a good relationship with the Italian striker, and the Old Lady likes the Nigerian.

It could drag on for some time, as Milan hope it does. Things will move, only on Vlahovic’s word, or those from his entourage.
