With no European football, we are looking into 45-50 matches next season, so how about giving Gimenez a chance? He should be our main starter, with an old and experienced player as back up, e.g. Immobile.
Save the hazzle, transfer fee and wage and improve our defence and midfield.
Yes that’s the problem, we sell players because next season we are without money from European cups.. Gimenez has his quality and I think he is a player Alegri likes( so many nonsense articles about how Alegri don’t won’t him 😀) …we buy him in winter for 35m€ and what now? We sell him for 30m€ to whom? Or send him on loan? Its make no sense… he need to feel confident and play ..We need to buy Immobile for 5m€ , or try to convince Morata for next season and we are okay…we don’t need to waste money in attack, we have problems in midfield and defence
