CM: Kessie affected by uncertain future – the latest including Man Utd interest and a crucial meeting

Despite the fantastic start to the Serie A season and the positive performances from several players, Franck Kessie’s future continues to take up the daily newspaper columns.

Last night the Ivorian had a real up and down game, one that started in a bad way as he was deemed to have fouled Hakan Calhanoglu leading to a penalty that his former team-mates scored, but Kessie grew into the match and played well before missing a big late chance to win it with a rebound after Alexis Saelemaekers’ shot hit the inside of the post and bounced back.

Calciomercato.com reports how Kessie’s performance has been the subject of discussion among the fans who have taken a very critical position towards the Ivorian especially because of the situation surrounding his contract.

Sporting director Ricky Massara and his agent George Atangana have held several meetings, an agreement has not yet arrived and that is why at the moment pessimism is filtering making the most likely hypothesis an exit at the end of the season.

Milan are not considering a January sale at present because they consider the 24-year-old to be a crucial piece in a potential Scudetto challenge and the Rossoneri will try to make a new attempt, and it will probably be a last attempt too.

Premier League duo Spurs and Manchester United plus Paris Saint-Germain have already opened contacts over a potential deal, and in the meantime it is possible that Kessie is being affected by the many rumours that circulate about his requests and about his future which is why a crucial meeting could happen in the next few days.
