According to what Tuttomercatoweb (via SempreMilan.it) are reporting, Leao’s priority is to stay at Milan as Portuguese striker feels at the centre of an ambitious project that can lead him to become one of the best in the world, but his performances must also be compensated in terms of salaries.
Leao – voted as the MVP of the last Serie A season – has started the current season showing just how decisive he is with three goal contributions in the Derby della Madonnina on Saturday including an excellently taken brace.
After having refused a renewal a few months ago, Leao has revealed to the management and entourage his first intention of staying with the Rossoneri for a long time, but to do so he wants to earn a salary similar to what Dusan Vlahovic gets at Juventus.
Milan’s intention is to satisfy him and that is why they seem willing to pay him the €7m net per season that is being demanded by the Portuguese winger, bearing in mind that they can also benefit from the Growth Decree to net a discount on the gross amount.
