Some further tactical indications have arrived from the final training session before the first summer friendly against Arsenal.
According to MilanNews, the squad have had a late afternoon training session in Singapore under the orders of the head coach Massimiliano Allegri. It is of course on the eve of the friendly against Arsenal, scheduled for tomorrow at 13:30 CEST.

Clues from training
In the training match, the Milan coach tried the following team: Maignan; Tomori, Gabbia, Pavlovic, F. Terracciano; Loftus-Cheek, Ricci, Musah; Saelemaekers, Leao, Pulisic.
Due to numerous absences, including injuries (Youssouf Fofana and Alex Jimenez) and players not in the camp (Emerson Royal, Luka Modric and Santiago Gimenez), Allegri has a very reshuffled starting XI compared to what his first choice will possibly be.
In practice, Leao was deployed as a striker with Pulisic on the left and Saelemaekers on the right. Out of necessity, Tomori was adapted to right-back, with Filippo Terracciano preferred to Bartesaghi on the left.
Lorenzo Colombo, who continues to be linked with a move to Parma, was not deployed in his natural central striker role. Tomorrow lunchtime will give us the official team, but for now the Milan boss seems determined to find solutions to work with what he has available.

This forum treating these friendliest like cup games… this is what friendliest are for, test, creativity, work as a team, chemistry building. Who cares of the scoreline, we want a team that can figure out how to play together, figure out the gaps, test players in different formations, prep for end of August. So what if tomori is RB? If he becomes comfortable that’s great, if he sucks good then we know.
Exactly. People are glossing over the fact that 1. We’re still signing the starting LB and RB; 2. Our primary striker is on holiday following a summer tournament and his alternate is still being search for; 3. Modric is on holiday following a summer tournament; 4. Fofana and Jimenez are recovering from injury; 5. Jashari or whatever other CM signing isn’t complete yet; and 6. There are a number of players who are not part of the project and should be looking for new clubs.
I don’t know what some of you expected to see in a preseason? Complaining on everything all the time. Grow up. They are called friendlies for a reason.

It will be better we play 3 back line and that what we are finally goin to play and sign leoni use bertasegi in the back 3 too for rotation
