In his usual segment on Sky for Calciomercato L’Originale (via MilanNews), Gianluca Di Marzio took stock of the negotiations for De Ketelaere and confirmed that an agreement with Brugge is yet to be found as there is distance between the parties.
Furthermore, he adds that Leeds United have ‘resigned themselves’ because they understood that the player wants Milan and Milan only. Now it’s up to the Rossoneri to find a deal with the Ligue 1 side by raising their bid in the right way.
In addition, what has filtered is that the player and his agents would like guarantees from the Rossoneri management, as they have asked for a starting role in the current side or at least the certainty of getting regular playing time under Stefano Pioli.
