Longo: Milan secure left-back for summer but will make €3m offer in January

AC Milan have reached an agreement in principle with Real Betis left-back Juan Miranda, whose contract will expire in the summer. However, as several reports claim, he could arrive as early as January.

The news first broke earlier this evening, stating that the Rossoneri are closing in on a contract agreement with Miranda. The latter is at the top of the wish list for the deputy left-back role and has been followed by Milan for quite some time.

As added by Daniele Longo this evening, Giorgio Furlani and Geoffrey Moncada intend to table an offer of €3m plus bonuses in January. They are hoping that Real Betis will accept the offer, knowing that Miranda has agreed to join Milan in the summer anyway.

The 23-year-old would be a great addition to the squad and getting him in January would be a boost, seeing as Theo Hernandez has looked rather tired as of late. The Frenchman will have to hold the fort for now, though.
