Longoni: Exit of young duo ‘almost certain’ as Milan look to finance mercato moves

Milan will make some sales this summer to fund their mercato campaign, which inevitably won’t please all of the supporters. While most of them will agree that selling Diego Laxalt was right, there are more complicated cases.

The future of Jens Petter Hauge and Tommaso Pobega has been heavily discussed among the Milan fans in the last few weeks. The reason? Both have been linked with a move away from the club and the rumours are legit.

As claimed by Andrea Longoni in his latest piece for MilanNews, the departures of Hauge and Pobega ‘are almost certain’ this summer. Both will generate good capital gains and this will help Milan find their operations on the market.

The Norwegian has been linked with a move to Germany while the Italian seems to be just one step away from Atalanta. Either way, it remains to be seen if Milan will be able to obtain a buy-back clause in both cases.
