The midfielder also added six assists to his name and it’s no surprise that the Rossoneri are keen on renewing his contract, which will expire in 2022. The negotiations are underway and we could soon get a conclusion.

There was distance between the parties initially but as reported by Andrea Longoni, Milan are now ready to improve their offer a lot: €5.5m per year. This should be enough to satisfy Kessie, who has made it clear that he wants to remain.

Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara will sit down with his agent to try to reach an agreement on the renewal. Hopefully, the improved offer will be enough to seal the deal, which would be a huge boost for the club.
