Longoni: Milan want to keep Pobega this summer – why he could leave anyway

In recent weeks, there has been a lot of talk about signings but also departures for Milan, who have been very active on the market. Due to the pre-season friendlies, however, some evaluations have seemingly changed.

Tommaso Pobega is one of the players that have been linked with an exit this summer, mainly because he would generate a full capital gain. However, according to Andrea Longoni, the real stance of the club is different.

In fact, Milan would like to keep Pobega for the upcoming season. During his loan spell at Spezia this past season, he impressed a lot but there were doubts regarding his ability to play in a tandem. Against Pro Sesto, though, he looked promising.

Having said that, there is still a risk that he will leave the Rossoneri this summer. Without any other capital gains, such as Jens Petter Hauge leaving, Paolo Maldini and Ricky Massara could be forced to reluctantly sell Pobega.
