Sky: Ligue 1 club show interest in last-minute move for Milan midfielder

As if things couldn’t get any more ridiculous, yet another club have reportedly come forward to try and secure the signing of Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Bakayoko has been linked with an exit from Milan all month and he seemed destined to join Adana Demirspor in Turkey before the negotiations fell apart and then looked likely to move to Cremonese on deadline day before their interest went cold.

Just as it looked as though the Frenchman would be staying until the end of the season when his two-year loan from Chelsea expires, there could be yet another late twist in the soap opera.

As reported by Peppe Di Stefano of Sky (via MilanNews), there is yet another club who might be willing to offer Bakayoko a lifeline and that is Lyon, who is looking for a midfielder in the last few hours of the transfer market.

No more specifics are given, but it is a race against time if they want to sign the former Monaco man.
