Sky: Ligue 1 club show interest in last-minute move for Milan midfielder

By Oliver Fisher -

As if things couldn’t get any more ridiculous, yet another club have reportedly come forward to try and secure the signing of Tiemoue Bakayoko.

Bakayoko has been linked with an exit from Milan all month and he seemed destined to join Adana Demirspor in Turkey before the negotiations fell apart and then looked likely to move to Cremonese on deadline day before their interest went cold.

Just as it looked as though the Frenchman would be staying until the end of the season when his two-year loan from Chelsea expires, there could be yet another late twist in the soap opera.

As reported by Peppe Di Stefano of Sky (via MilanNews), there is yet another club who might be willing to offer Bakayoko a lifeline and that is Lyon, who is looking for a midfielder in the last few hours of the transfer market.

No more specifics are given, but it is a race against time if they want to sign the former Monaco man.

  1. Milan could do worse than try and get Bakayoko playing again. He was good in his first spell, and it’s not as if the current midfield is setting the world on fire….

  2. Yes it is circus. Ridiculous. When Cardinale bought Ac Milan. That is the same think when you put a dog in space shuttle and send him to the Moon. Americans can’t handle European soccer club. That’s Ridiculous…

    1. Handled it pretty good so far. How many scudettos have been one sense 2010? What nationality were the one owners who have won a scudetto? You clearly don’t follow Milan

      1. Which scudetto ? Before Elliott arrived someone needs to spend hundreds of millions on squad which started to play well years later. So scudetto Milan won is product of previous spent amount of money and combination of big luck, that doesn’t have any fu*kin connection with Americans.

But let’s see if you are right, we don’t need to worry. Milan is still competitive in 4 fronts as Maldini said. Oh sh*t sherlock there are only 2. What will happen after Tottenham and at the end of the season?
If you are right we are on best road for biggest achievement under Americans this year. Right Einstein ?

    2. Aaaaaaaaaaand how exactly is Cardinale involved here? Bakayoko was already in the team when the owners changed.

This blame game is getting f*ng ridiculous!!!!! I bet Cardinale is behind the Ukraine war and global warming too! That bastard!

  3. Is Americans the rightful owner if Milan? How can’t they not managed a club in Europe, they are not the coach. Winning scudetto is about funding and buying good prayers. This January window nobody talks of getting good prayer talk if renewed Leo contract
