Paolo Maldini visited Milanello today alongside Leonardo and oversaw the first training session of the team upon the squads return from the United States tour. The new addition to the directorial team spoke about the afternoon to Mediaset.

“For me it is always very nice to come here. It is a second home, like the San Siro,” Maldini said.
“Gattuso? I used to see him coach last year. I know his talents and I am not surprised by anything I have seen,” he added.
The former Milan captain returned to the club after 9 years and will overlook the technical and sports area with Leonardo, from the youth teams to the senior side.
