Mediaset: Chelsea yet to budge on €20m price tag as Milan want midfield outcast

Milan are looking for a midfielder on the transfer market, keen on providing Stefani Pioli with a quality third-choice for the department. Ismael Bennacer and Franck Kessie, of course, are the undisputed starters.

Among other players, that have added Tiemoue Bakayoko to their transfer wish list. The Frenchman spent the 2018/19 season on loan with the Rossoneri and did very well in the second half of the season. Perhaps, he even deserved to stay.

However, as reported by SportMediaset, the negotiations are progressing slowly as Milan remain busy with the renewals. They have an agreement with Bakayoko on the personal terms, but Chelsea are yet to budge on their demands.

The Stamford Bridge side would like €20m to part ways with Bakayoko, only willing to let him leave on a permanent basis and not on a loan. After what has been a failed investment, they just want to close the case and move on.
