Claudio Raimondi reported on SportMediaset (via MilanNews) reported this afternoon that Milan are looking for a replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic and they believe Marko Arnautovic of Bologna has the right experience and physical profile.
However, the Rossoneri do not want to invest more than €5m for the 34-year-old Austria international precisely because of his age, while the Emilian side are asking for double, therefore around €10m.
Meanwhile, the same journalist added that contacts between Milan and Chelsea are increasingly frequent over Ruben Loftus-Cheek, who will leave the London club because he is not part of Mauricio Pochettino’s plans.
His current deal runs out in June 2024 and Milan are hoping to agree a fee of less than €20m, but at the moment Chelsea are continuing to ask for €25m to sell their academy graduate.
