Mediaset: Milan to use funds from €12m winger sale to launch bid for CSKA Moscow ace

AC Milan are looking to complete a sale in the coming days that will allow them to move for their main playmaker target, a report claims.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Jens Petter Hauge will leave Milan after less than a year at the club. The Norwegian winger was put on the market and is very close to joining Eintracht Frankfurt as the Bundesliga side have met the asking price of €12.

This is an amount which would be used by the Rossoneri management to try and sign Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow. Zenit also want the 23-year-old Croatia international and have presented an offer equal to €25m.

Milan could equal the offer of the Russian club with Hauge’s sale, also focusing on the will of the player who wants to join his compatriot Ante Rebic and try a new adventure in Italy. With Hauge’s departure, there should be some movement, it seems.
