Mediaset: Milan to use funds from €12m winger sale to launch bid for CSKA Moscow ace

By Oliver Fisher -

AC Milan are looking to complete a sale in the coming days that will allow them to move for their main playmaker target, a report claims.

According to the latest from SportMediaset (via MilanNews), Jens Petter Hauge will leave Milan after less than a year at the club. The Norwegian winger was put on the market and is very close to joining Eintracht Frankfurt as the Bundesliga side have met the asking price of €12.

This is an amount which would be used by the Rossoneri management to try and sign Nikola Vlasic from CSKA Moscow. Zenit also want the 23-year-old Croatia international and have presented an offer equal to €25m.

Milan could equal the offer of the Russian club with Hauge’s sale, also focusing on the will of the player who wants to join his compatriot Ante Rebic and try a new adventure in Italy. With Hauge’s departure, there should be some movement, it seems.

  1. So Milan management really want to sell Hauge, why ain’t they seeing what we the fans are seeing that Hauge is a future star their project stands on,at worse there should be a buy back option in Milan’s favour if not this will surely be a regret sale .

    1. Not all Milan fans see Hauge as a future star. Sure, it is possible but nothing I have seen indicates he will be anything other than a good offensive player and a defensive liability. I am okay with selling him as long as they include some future percentage of resale in case I am wrong.

      1. As much as i would like to see him stay and develope further with us im with you on this and as long we add the clauses you mention i have no great issues selling him if that means we can reinforce the team and overall improve the team where its actually needed.

      2. You’re right. I like Hauge too but all this bitching here by fans are ridiculous. We’re not selling Lionel Messi. He was behind Rebic and Leao in the pecking order anyway and it’s a good capital gain for Milan.

I wish him all the best.

        1. Yeah people are ridiculous in the amount they complaint about hauge but as you i also wish him well wherever he might end up but besides of the fact that we will get some cash for him to be reinvested where it matters it will hopefully also put a damper on all of that complaining. when he’s gone 😀

  2. Its Obvious the Milan management don’t see it our way. I prefer Hauge to Leao. Hauge has the fighting spirit and the skills too. Leao is skillful but lazy. Just include some buy-back clause or future re-sale clause please

  3. How come every time a black player underachieved he’s characterized as lazy? Maybe Hauge is the lazy one and that’s why he never was picked, even over the likes of Krunic.

    1. Dude this is the problem with racism stuff…we love the club ..regardless of the player is white ,black, yellow or brown…people like you are the real problem for racism…no one is judging the player based on the color their skin..stop talking nonsense and sh*t…you feed on racism people like you build the walls rather then bridges
