Il Messaggero: Milan enter race for Lazio star with €60m price tag – the latest

AC Milan are already making evaluations for next season and having failed to defend the Scudetto, they are eager to reinforce the team in the summer. One of the players on their list is Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic.

Milinkovic-Savic has been linked with a move to the Rossoneri for a very long time, but every summer he has stayed at Lazio. This time out, however, the midfielder could really leave the capital, as per Il Messaggero (via FootballNews24).

Juventus are in pole position for the player and are very keen on the deal, but Milan have now also entered the race. The 28-year-old will certainly not leave for pennies, as the newspaper continues, given that Lazio have slapped a €60m price tag on him.

Milan have earned a lot from their run in the Champions League this season but that price tag will likely put an end to their interest. Instead, they could focus on Brahim Diaz and use the rest of the ‘SMS money’ on a striker.
