It is clear that AC Milan’s front line are struggling a little bit when it comes to scoring goals, and the statistics are a little worrying.

Nevertheless, questions need to be asked about the goal-scoring rate of their forwards.
Milan’s attackers struggle
MilanNews writes that since the turn of the year, the Diavolo have scored 14 times in 12 games, which is not brilliant. Unfortunately, the recent struggle is clear, with only three goals in their last four games.
Rafael Leao leads the forwards with four goals, whilst Christopher Nkunku has two and Niclas Fullkrug has one. It has been well publicised already that Christian Pulisic is searching for his first goal of the year.
Indeed, this means that only half of the goals in 2026 have come from the designated goal scorers. The report, perhaps harshly, states that Pulisic is ‘flopping’, but others have fallen below expectations, too.
Perhaps this is the moment to change the formation back to a 4-3-3, which could boast the offensive threat. Maybe it is a sign to change the personnel. Whichever it is, Allegri needs to find a solution quickly.
