As has been reported by Sport Mediaset (via Milan Eye), the Rossoneri are keen to ensure that Frattesi comes to the San Siro rather than the Stadio Olimpico.

Roma still remain the team furthest ahead in negotiations after they chased him for the whole of last summer, but Milan feel they can convince the player to join them.

Sassuolo are asking for a transfer fee of €30-35 million to sell the Italian but they would likely accept a loan with an obligation to make the deal permanent in the summer of 2024.

A January move is not expected to be on the cards as Sassuolo would then need to find a replacement, but he certainly looks destined for a move away from Reggio Emilia in the summer.
