AC Milan are ready to battle Bayern Munich in the race to land Liverpool striker Roberto Firmino, according to a report.

Bayern Munich are keen but there are other teams who are keen, with Milan thinking about the 30-year-old and expected to challenge Bayern for is signing. The Bundesliga champions are in pole, as they could lose Lewandowski who is in the sights of Guardiola’s Manchester City.
Firmino has been liked by Milan for years and he could moved to Italy when he was at Hoffenheim shirt in 2014 as the Rossoneri had the chance to sign him for €20m but everything fell through and a year later he went to Liverpool for €40m. Around €30-40m would be enough this summer.
Yesterday, Firmino scored a hat-trick as Liverpool condemned Claudio Ranieri to a terrible start to life as Watford manager, running out 5-0 winners.
