Another winger is needed at AC Milan this summer, and Marco Asensio is being listed as a potential option it seems.
After spending last season in the Premier League with Aston Villa, there is sure to be a market for Asensio, who showed that he still has quality left in him. So, with the Villains not taking advantage of the loan on a permanent basis, another option is being sought by PSG.

Earlier today it was reported that Milan could be an option, and these reports have been strenghtened by French outlet L’Equipe.
Opening for Asensio
This afternoon they report that the Rossoneri have ‘started talks’ with the Parisian giants over a potential move for the Spaniard, despite an offer already being on the table from Turkish side Fenerbahce.
€15 million, including bonuses, has not been rejected by the French club, though the winger would like to move elsewhere, with Turkey not being his priority. Instead, he is waiting to see what other options are tabled, especially now the Diavolo are involved.
Villarreal have also been reported to be interested, and have made contact with the player’s entourage. However, they may not have the financial resources to pull off a deal with the Champions League winners.
A deal with PSG wouldn’t be difficult.
A deal with the player, bearing in mind he’s on the sort of money most players move to Saudi Arabia for, will be very tricky.
Nice loan move if we can pay part of his salary. I don’t expect to hear any more about it.
Would be a good move if it happens. PSG are loaded with talent and cash, so a deal is possible if he isn’t part of their plans. But this seems a another speculative out of thin air article.
who is he starting over in a 433? in a 4231 MAYBE he starts on the right if puli plays in the middle. Don’t think we’ll be using 4231 anymore though. This seems like bs.
Pulisic back up as RW? If Chukwueze leaves, then Asensio as the one coming in i think would be great. Personally i think Berardi should be an option, in case he agrees to try a different path away from Sassuolo after they were in Serie B last season and are gonna be again in Serie A this coming season. Berardi is a couple of years older than Asensio but is a proven player in Italy. Last season in Serie B he contributed 20 goals+assists in 29 games. In the season prior when Sassuolo were relegated he did 12 g+a in 18 games; in 22-23 season he did 20 g+a in 27 games; in 21-22 season he did 32 g+a in 34 games. And regarding salaries, Asensio has been (per Capology website) at 6.7 M/ year at PSG, and was at 3.9 M at Real Madrid. Berardi supposedly is at 3 M at Sassuolo
I don’t think he sees himself as a backup. Will PSG pay part of his wages? Saudi league may be better for this guy.
I think if we play 4-2-3-1 he starts in the hole behind the striker. Asensio’s effectiveness does not drop when he plays in the middle. In fact, he’s scored more goals and assists per game in the middle than on the flanks. Puli is younger, quicker, and RW is his spot. Having Asensio in the middle would make more sense given his experience for ball distribution and slower pace. But in the end I also think it’s BS, more so because if we sign Jashari and Modric, it will mean 2 of Ricci, Modric, Jashari and Fofana will be on the bench and I don’t think we’re spending all that money to do that. The only other way is if he’s a rotation option for the wings in a 4-3-3, and I don’t know if Asensio will want to be a part-timer (but this would be great for us).
If Chuk leaves then they should consider Orsolini. Maybe they can soften them with including Pobega in the deal.
He doesn’t have to start. what if Pulisc/Leao are injured? or need to be rested? Milan needs quality on and off the bench. Also, Asencio can play multiple positions.
He have more salary than leao. 433 he can only useful as RW and ACM already have puli, saladmaker,chukwu ( on his way out) in that position. It is more urgent to find LB & RB starter first than buying asensio
Same old crap…even if transfer fee small…Milan will not be able to pay his salary….just like most players rumours now. I can see player dropping a couple millions but I just can’t see them dropping half their salaries just for Milan. Just like vlahovic it’s not going to happen…unless it’s for loan with half salaries paid by either party.

Asenio is one of those Osimehn, Rashford, Sancho types. He’s on such a high salary, no one is willing to pay a transfer fee so he just ends up perennially on loan.
ie. a higher budget Chukwueze or Okafor
I don’t see this happening whilst we want Pulisic to sign a new deal, it’d be a bit of a slight to him. That said, he seemed to be a very effective team player for Aston Villa last year, but if he won’t take a financial hit for them then he’s unlikely to for us I would assume
