AC Milan face a decision regarding the future of Francesco Camarda, who will soon return to base after his loan at Lecce.

Camarda recently made his debut for the senior Italian national team against Luxembourg and he also played against Greece. Today’s edition of Il Giorno (via MilanVibes) focuses on the rumours that surround his future.
The Milanese newspaper writes that Camarda became the sixth-youngest debutant for the senior national team behind record-holder Renzo De Vecchi (16 years and 3 months), Simone Pafundi, Gianluigi Donnarumma, Luigi Barbesino, and Samuele Inacio.
Camarda has broken other records too: in 2023, he became the youngest debutant in Serie A history, in 2024 the youngest Italian to debut in the Champions League, and in 2025 the youngest scorer for the Italy U21 national team.
Calls arrive for Camarda
This season with Lecce he scored just one goal in 21 appearances (seven as a starter). Eusebio Di Francesco placed his trust in him especially in the first part of the season, then in January a bruised shoulder trauma forced the player to undergo surgery and sit out for almost four months (109 days).
Last summer he was loaned to Lecce with an option to buy (€3m) and a buy-back (€4m) in favour of the Rossoneri. He will return to Milan, but several teams have already made inquiries. Above all, they name Sassuolo, Parma, Cagliari, Monza and Frosinone.
In short, there will be a battle to secure the services of one of Italy’s brightest young talents. However, reports have also suggested that Ralf Rangnick’s arrival as the technical director could see Camarda stay and feature more at Milan.
